KWA LM4 GBBR and RM4 ERG, AK series, Magpul and more: SHOT Show 2012

KWA Performance Industries was one of the big players at the 2012 SHOT Show, both in airsoft and in tactical training products. With KWA, they're one and the same. KWA Airsoft Pistols: SHOT SHOW 2012

This year at the 2012 SHOT Show, KWA Performance Industries had a mix of new products and products that have been previously announced but not yet released. These range from the upcoming KWA H&K HK45 to the brand new MKV Makarov, the ever-popular KWA KRISS Vector, and the long-awaited KWA Gas Blowback Rifle series. Whether you're a classic style pistol enthusiast, a Law Enforcement training officer, or just an airsoft player looking for absolute realism, KWA USA has an airsoft replica for you. Along with all the licensed products covered in our Knight's Armament article, Classic Army also had a few of their own items on display at the 2012 SHOT Show. The first one we're likely to actually have in stores is the CA Krebs Custom Enhanced Speed Load AK47. This is a licensed replica of the modified Kalashnikov platform rifles sold by Krebs Custom Inc. If you took an AK and fixed everything that an modern rifle shooter disliked, you would have the KCI Enhanced Speed Load AK47.

The Magpul PTS PDR has been one of the most anticipated airsoft projects since it was revealed in early development at the 2011 SHOT Show. At that time, it was only a shell with a magazine, but people were captivated by the design and the idea of a compact PDW type rifle that could take STANAG magazines. HK416 and HK417 First Impressions

HK416 VFC Airsoft Rifle H&K 416 We blogged about the upcoming HK416 and HK417 series rifles a few posts back, but we got a chance to hold the first AEG models at the 2012 SHOT Show. Umarex will be distributing these with full licensing in the US, and it sounds like they will come with a 1 year warranty. While we don't have solid information on pricing or velocity yet, Umarex USA has informed us that these could arrive within 60 days. Since the HK416 is in use by many US Special Forces, these will certainly be in demand for US Special Forces or SEALs replica loadouts. Pricing is expected to be upwards of $400, but is not set yet.

KWA KRISS Vector GBB airsoft SMG Super V The KRISS Vector is one of the hottest new guns on the market right now, in large part due to its inventive design that's unlike anything we've seen before. It comes as no surprise that the KWA KRISS Vector gas powered airsoft replica has a huge amount of buzz as we get closer to it's release date. KWA Performance Industries is working in partnership with KRISS to produce a fully functional airsoft KRISS Vector that matches the real carbine in function, features, and feel. KWA had the first functioning pre-production models at the 2012 SHOT Show, so read on for more photos and information.

The Heckler & Koch HK416 is one of the most popular rifles today, both in military applications and firearm enthusiasts. It's no wonder that the airsoft community has been clamoring for a quality, realistic replica of the HK416 and HK417. This year, those requests are answered.
